Short answer

Good client gifts are useful, shareable or consumable, and about the client rather than your logo. Most buyers spend $25–$49 per client gift. The IRS limits the deduction to $25 per recipient per year, and many clients have their own gift limits, so ask first. Check our calendar for every order-by date.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good corporate gift for clients?

Something useful or shareable that fits how the client works, with a small logo or none. Gift boxes for the whole office suit firms; one premium everyday item suits individual contacts.

How much should I spend on a client gift?

Custom Ink's 2026 survey found 43% of buyers spend $25–$49 per client gift and 31% spend $50–$99. Start from your client list size and their gift policies.

How much of a client gift is tax-deductible?

IRS Publication 463 caps it at $25 per recipient per tax year; incidental costs like engraving and shipping generally don't count. General information, not tax advice.

Can government clients accept gifts?

U.S. federal employees generally may accept unsolicited gifts of $20 or less per source per occasion, up to $50 a year from one source, and not cash (5 CFR 2635.204). State and local rules differ, so ask.

Keep it small or leave it off. In Custom Ink's employee survey, 42% preferred a subtle logo. A handwritten card keeps the gift about the client.

When should I order client holiday gifts?

Earlier for anything custom. Every cutoff is in our order-by calendar.
